is it time?

well the amazing MMORPG World of Warcraft (WoW) have made such an impact to my life and i don't think i like the way its going. i now live in a mini LAN shop with working ventrilo systems with mics and speakers, disguised as a homely 4 room HDB estate. the first thing i do when i wake up is to turn on my computer. i turn on my television beside my computer so i don't feel lonely looking into the computer. my bio cycle had been altered in such a way that i wake up at around 12 noon and fall asleep at around 3 in the morning. i resorted to skipping lunches (and breakfasts cause I'm still asleep) cause i simply don't want to step out of my house to get food, thus i only eat 1 meal a day - dinner. somehow i always lose track of time and end up showering only around now, which is 2.21 am on my computer screen. i have been late for my gatherings with friends just because i wanted to finish my heroic daily. i am now flagged for pvp at home against my sister and my future brother in law. by the way, i now find him less appealing then a week ago, before all the drama mama happened. my everyday conversations revolve around raids, encounters and consumables like potions, flasks and in game food. i fear i can only find joy with my level 80 shadow priest. i hate my dps, it makes me feel useless. sometimes i find it hard to breathe at night. i detest all the vulgarity used in the conversations during raids, but i would just stand there and take it, silently. my sister hates me, i think, well i infer.. its a siblings thing. i can't quit the game. i love the friends i made in the game. i love my friends that plays the game with me, though i hate some of the things they do, but they are my friends after all. i miss my sister. i felt like crying when my mum asked me what happened, maybe i shouldn't have written all of those things on my facebook. but i have no regrets. i hate it when people shout. i hate it when people quarrel, especially over WoW. i wonder if the game is still fun. I'm thinking what i miss from the game, is it worth not talking to people, not going out, have very bad dark eye rings over. I'd really like to say i miss my life before WoW, but i can't remember it anymore.

OK... so i went totally crazy again Tuesday night haha, before i start, happy birthday baldy!! well, so it was baldy's big day, so the bunch of us went out to eat and stuff, went to fika cafe, a short (or rather extremely long cause i was starving) walk from bugis MRT (the other exit besides the one nearer to NLB). as usual people were late, well i first saw Kenneth in his office wear, dude, real ugly shoes... and zhiqiang was real excited about his new shoes haha... anyways, Joshua and baldy came late, josh was rather pissed that he was late, so pissed that we forgave him haha.. man he has his charms...

fika wasn't bad, but rather pricey for the amount of food, i had the hash thing, a lot of potatoes, really regretted the fact that i didn't went for the more obvious choice Swedish meatballs... after that, we went for yet another walk to bugis and went swensens for deserts, well its baldy's birthday cake surprise but yeah, the ploy for him to pick a flavour was so plain that he saw right through me haha, sorry guys..

then, the crazy part, yaofeng wanted to go kbox, so we went there for yet another overnight session! and I'm proud to say, at 4.30am i was the last one standing! yes i was standing! after that we went breakfast hunting, well, not much to see in town at 4.30am in the morning, and we wanted to take the train home, so that's like a wait till 6am. we found this hawker centre thing in the middle of nowhere, there were chinamen, viets, Filipinos, and some unidentifiable personals, and of course a fight across the street. we all thought we were dreaming.. so we had breakfast there, real expensive stuff, like 4 bucks for fish ball noodles... nevermind, since there's nothing left in town...

after breakfast, we walked (yeah we walked again) to PS to take the train, nearly succumbing to the fleets of taxis that went past us, we managed to hop onto a train half asleep at 6.05 am, hence my Tuesday ended on Wednesday, 7.15am, when i went to sleep..

what a day..

Okay.. so i'm having some BIG reality checks going on lately...

Number One: Its about time, i need spectacles. it started since JC i guess, when i started mistaking 103 for 109 especially at night, and now i everythings going a blur when placed at a not too far distance from me, i actually used to want to be bespectacled but after having my specs done at secondary school, and having that comment that i look like lao fu zi with specs on, i kinda hated it. But if i have no choice, i'll do it, well to see so i won't accidentally end up back in seletar camp when i want to go home.

Number Two: Im getting OLD...
ok, i know alot of people are gonna hate me for saying this haha.. well, im not longer a teen, sadly, and the realisation that that hot chick sitting opposite to me is defintely at least 4 years younger than me (secondary school uniform), and for some reason even a 3 years gap is considered socially illegal in my community, it definely turns me off. AND im starting to find the chatter going on at the back of the bus really irritating, well i was part of the chatter like 2, 3 years ago maybe? Well.. this sucks, im really getting old. Through my journey to Orchard from home was so terrible, cause well old people arent cute, and with my size i can only probably pass off as cute to gain public appeal lol, you can only imagine the joy i felt seeing older people after reaching town...

AND lastly, I'm erm.. alone? hahaha... ok this is wierd. seeing so many people getting together with other people... well im feeling lonely.. but hey, my time will come.. hopefully haha and for those attached with those BIG BIG grins over their ever so slappable face, CONGRATULATIONS and be ever so happy=) cheers.

Shopping!! haha...

haven't done that in a while, so i finally stepped out of my HDB flat despite my aching thighs to meet dear gangkai at TampinesOne =) well, i was late, but earlier than gangkai, he made me wait a good 20 minutes for him! but its alright, i took the time to scout some of the shops. They have not bad a variety of shops for men's apparels - recoil, topman, some nature thing with a very enthusiastic group of saleswomen, and others that i could not even remember their names... BUT! most importantly, they have UNIQLO! haha..

always wanted to go and check out the stuff in uniqlo but never found company and heard there's an insane queue (well its not there anymore... duh), well, i like their colours haha, and their fabric, bought a really cool shirt made of, well i have no clue but i like how it feels lol. our venture started with gangkai scaring a worker at uniqlo at the fitting room, well, he was standing behind her while she was cleaning the carpet floor in the fitting rooms, and if you wondered, yes she screamed. what a day for shopping isn't it!

well, the day ended with a receipt of 109.60SGD in Uniqlo alone, we shard the receipt for the free gift lol, man we're so freaking cheap! just to cross the 100SGD line (it was 96.40SGD) we made everyone wait while gangkai went to fetch some ankle socks he'd been wanting to buy for awhile lol. so i apologise for making everyone in the line wait haha.. well, off to my 25men raid!

Okay... For once in my 2-year sentence in National Service i am actually falling under the weather at a time i actually want it. Guess what?! Another IPPT tomorrow! Not that i don't understand why these IPPT exists. Maintaining physical fitness throughout your national service is absolute bullshit, but having a company full of IPPT Silvers and Golds definitely makes your profile look better when you are the Officer Commanding of that company, and form the point of view of our dear OC, i guess he needs it. So yes, i am going to try my best tomorrow for IPPT, but with my current condition and the fact that my pathetically short legs and innate fear of falling had been preventing me from getting a silver for SBJ for the last... 8 years of my life, i seriously doubt that i can suddenly reach 225 (i think) tomorrow. So... good luck to me and the rest of the 7 people of my platoon who despite our stagnant physical standards are expected to get better results magically overnight (or in 3 weeks notice). So friends, strive hard!

That issue aside, yes i AM really sick.. not doubt about that. i believe what my mum always tells me: you know your own body the best (in Chinese), so I'm fully aware the endless flow of transparent liquids from my nasal passages and a constant need to crawl into bed cocooning myself in my blanket and able to sleep soundly throughout the entire day (and through the Korean pep rallies in my bunk) a definite sign of me falling ill. BUT!, so some unknown reason, I've been told since i entered the army that reporting sick for flu in an army camp is a free ticket to DB or SOL sponsored by the term Malingering (i think its spelt this way), thus i gave up the though of reporting sick and would rather die in at the turning point of the 2.4km running route tomorrow... so if you don't see anymore posts after this, well you know what happened, and due to the short notice, I'm most probably going to cause a lot of noise at my void deck so, hey come pay me a visit! =)

Erm.. anyone else got their ORD letter yet? whos gonna get posted to 324 SCE?... im kinda praying alot of ppl go there with me.. coz i dun really wanna go alone haha...

went kbox juz now, so basically so much for talking now. thanks to yaofeng haha... feeling kinda sore in my throat now... hope it will subside later... and man im booking in later... can i ORD faster? haha

probably until today then i finally got the impression my ORD is really around the corner.. its 2 months and 10 days away.. 2 more months.. feels rather unbelievable.. especially when i can still remember my first day in tekong, and den again my first day in seletar is rahter fuzzy, probably tekong made a stronger imrpession... well either way, its coming to an end soon!

den now its time to tink of the future.. man how i dread thinking about the future.. hmm anyone can teach me how to sign up for teaching? lol

This is Annaleigh from ANTM Cycle 11. So Im slow, i just watched this cycle during standby at the F1 site. She was a figure skater, and ended up 3rd in this cycle. Personally i thought she could've gone to the final 2, reason given for her elimination was that she looks more like an actress than a model, i agree, but she does have a killer walk and if she had made it into the top 2 McKey might have a slighter chance of winning haha..

hmm.. so its been awhile since i did this.. blame army and wow (world of warcraft) haha... feels kinda wierd writing blogs again...

well... today's tuesday, which means maintenance day for wow players, thus im left with practically nothing to do at home.. and since i am so free today, i've decided to start blogging again, though i think its rather passe to blog now haha, with twitter and facebook and stuff, but hey i cant bitch about my life with a 100 over words limit.

went over to my previous blog, realised its been over a year (i think) since i last blogged, and right now im probably just talking rubbish just to keep typing and keep myself busy coz seriously, my life's getting kinda mundane haha... k, maybe today's a little special, went to watch inglorious basterds with my company for cohesion haha, its a cool movie.. after which went window shopping with some of the guys, its fun shopping with them haha..

hmm good thing is im graduating from this hellish nonsense they call national service in about 2 to 3 months time, and probably i can get some of my less mundane life back.

-saw from my tagboard some really wierd messages but hey, i take it as a compliment haha... not everyday someone will pull a prank saying that they have a sister that adores me much haha.. so miss charlene_jingfeng, thanks!
